This policy explains what data Kornilov Leatherworks (operated by Wano Enterprises, Kanpur, UP) collects, why, and how we use it — in plain language. We comply with India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Data We Collect

When you place an order

• Name, email address, phone number
• Shipping address
• Order details (items, quantities, payment method)

This data is necessary to process and deliver your order. We cannot fulfil an order without it.

When you browse the site (analytics — with your consent only)

If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we collect:

• IP address (used to estimate your approximate country/city)
• Pages you visit and the time of visit
• Browser type and operating system
• Referring website (where you came from)

If you click Decline, we only record anonymised data — your IP address is masked (e.g. 103.45.x.x) and no location is resolved. This anonymised data cannot identify you.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking. All analytics data is stored on our own server and never shared.

4. Payment Data

Online payments are processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We never see or store your card number or UPI PIN. For COD orders, no payment data is collected online.

5. Data Retention

• Order data is kept for 7 years (required by Indian GST/tax law)
• Analytics data is retained for 30 days, then deleted automatically
• If you request deletion of your personal data, we will remove it within 30 days (except what we are legally required to keep)

6. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

As a data principal under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
• Withdraw consent at any time — just click Decline on the cookie banner
• Raise a grievance with us or with the Data Protection Board of India
